“I persuaded my husband to give hypnobirthing a try and we are so pleased that we did. It was the single most helpful thing we did to prepare for the birth of our baby. Verina clearly explained the theory behind hypnobirthing and gave us all the tools we needed. We put a lot of time into practicing the relaxation scripts and techniques that by the time I went into labour, it was like second nature to us. We had hoped to have our baby at home, however unforeseen complications meant that we had to transfer into hospital where I had a C-section. We were both so calm in what could have potentially been a very stressful situation and I really believe this is down to the skills we learnt through this course. It is important to add that our baby remained happy and calm throughout labour and when she arrived by C-section she was so chilled out and content, again another sign that hypnobirthing really does work!
